Clipping and Grooming.... The do-it-yourself hydrobath is very popular. It makes bathing the dog a
whole lot easier, and achieves the aim of a thoroughly clean, nice-smelling dog -
and some dogs actually like it. We also offer a clipping and grooming service.

| Microchips.... The best safeguard to ensure that a lost pet is found and returned to you
is to have them microchipped with your contact details. This is a simple procedure
which takes a few seconds and is normally done in the consulting room. The microchip,
the size of a rice grain, is injected under the skin in the shoulder region. |

Puppy Pre School.... Puppy Pre School are a great way of socialising your new puppy with others
of the same age. We hold pre school for 8-14 week old puppies, on Sunday afternoons.
You will also learn how to teach your puppy basic obedience and important social
skills. Puppies have a great time, and it also means that they enjoy coming to the
hospital which makes the vets' and owners' jobs a bit easier. Puppies are required to
have had at least their 6-8 week vaccination. The Puppy Pre School are run by qualified
veterinary nurses. |

At the End of the Day.... If you think that your animal companion is suffering or is getting to the
end of a terminal disease, please discuss your situation with us over the phone
or come down for a chat. We are always willing to examine your pet and give you
our opinion. If our joint conclusion is that euthanasia is required, we can come
to your home to give the final injection or it can be done at the hospital.
We are able to take care of the burial, cremation, or you may wish to have your
pet buried at home. |
